2. What type of transportation do you provide?
Eastside EMS specializes in stretcher-based transportation. We are not a wheelchair transport provider. Our vehicles are designed for patients who require transport while lying down, including those discharged from hospitals, undergoing long-term care, or in recovery.
3. Who is eligible to use your transportation services?
We provide services for individuals who need non-emergency stretcher transport due to medical conditions, limited mobility, or recovery from surgery. Our services are ideal for those who are medically stable but not ambulatory.
4. How do I schedule a ride?
You can schedule transportation by calling us at (470) 374- 0072 or by submitting a request through our website. We recommend scheduling at least 24–48 hours in advance to ensure availability.
5. Do you offer same-day service?
Yes, we offer same-day service based on availability. Please contact us as early as possible for urgent, non-emergency transport needs.
6. What areas do you serve?

7. Do you provide transportation for regular doctor visits or outpatient appointments?
Our focus is on critical non-emergency medical transport such as hospital discharges, rehab facility transfers, and treatment-related trips. We do not provide general transportation for routine outpatient appointments.
8. Do you accept Medicare or private insurance?
Yes, we work with a wide range of insurance providers and accept Medicare, Medicaid (based on coverage and medical necessity), and most private insurance plans. All of our drivers are professionally trained, background-checked, and EMS certified. Our stretcher transport units are clean, fully equipped, and maintained to meet or exceed all state and safety regulations.
